Under the Sea

"Under the Sea" 2001 (42" x 53")

Commissioned by Baker, O'Sullivan & Bliss, P.C. in Wethersfield, CT.
They wanted a large piece for a turn in the hallway. "Under the Sea" is made completely from fabrics that I dyed myself. It features long twisted tucks of fabric that are three-dimensional. Depending upon from which end of the hallway you approach the piece, you see a different color: dark blue or olive green.
